Company Facts
What VoiceSeal Does
VoiceSeal is a synthesis-agnostic platform combining voice-identity enrollment, permission, and provenance in a single closed-loop stack:
- Biometric Voice Enrollment — Voice artists register a cryptographically timestamped 256-dimensional biometric fingerprint of their voice using Resemblyzer speaker embeddings (GE2E architecture). This creates a timestamped record of enrollment and file possession.
- Archive Enrollment — Voice artists upload existing recordings (catalogs, audiobooks, commercial work) and receive back content-credentialed files with a timestamped provenance record — a record of enrollment and file possession — before studio delivery.
- Pre-Synthesis Consent Verification — Voice owners register enrolled voices and set consent and license terms. Integrating platforms call VoiceSeal before generating audio to verify identity, consent status, and license scope — authorizing or blocking synthesis before it happens.
- Trusted C2PA Content Provenance — Authorized synthetic audio is marked with an in-band, cryptographically signed C2PA Content Credential — trust-list-recognized, tamper-evident, and RFC-3161 timestamped — supporting EU AI Act Article 50-type machine-readable transparency.
- Bitcoin-Anchored Audit Trail — The consent and authorization audit log is hash-chained and anchored daily to the Bitcoin blockchain via OpenTimestamps for independent, tamper-evident verification.
- VoiceSeal Verified Marketplace — A public ethical AI voice marketplace where enrolled voice artists opt in to be discovered by creators generating AI audio. Creators run a free audio check; licensed use flows through the platform with Stripe payouts to artists.
- Pre-Synthesis Consent-Check API — TTS platforms call VoiceSeal before generating audio to verify biometric identity, consent status, and license scope. Returns a cryptographic token for approved synthesis or authorization_denied on a blocked request. This is VoiceSeal's primary patent claim. VoiceSeal provides an independent, synthesis-agnostic permission and provenance layer that operates across voice platforms rather than remaining limited to a single generator's ecosystem.
- Security Architecture: Documented at voiceseal.io/security — AES-256 biometric encryption, TLS 1.3, hash-chained Bitcoin-anchored audit logs, BIPA consent lifecycle, on SOC 2 / ISO 27001 attested infrastructure (Railway, Vercel, Cloudflare R2).
Now in beta: Rightsholder verification and evidence reports — verify a suspect clip against an enrolled voice, manually reviewed by our verification team; a match is a signal, not a verdict.
Key Regulatory Context
- EU AI Act Article 50 (August 2, 2026) — Requires TTS platforms to embed machine-readable provenance markers in AI-generated audio. VoiceSeal's pre-synthesis API closes the gap Article 50 leaves open: the regulation proves content is AI-generated but not whose voice was used or whether consent existed. VoiceSeal connects biometric identity, consent, and provenance in a single verifiable chain.
- Digital-Replica Consent Standards — Industry agreements increasingly require consent and usage reporting for synthetic voice replicas. VoiceSeal's infrastructure is built to support these requirements.
- BIPA (Illinois) and state-level voice protection laws — VoiceSeal's consent flows are BIPA-aligned with versioned records, purpose scoping, and withdrawal workflows.
Pricing Model
